We have partnered with the Canadian National Baptist Convention (CNBC) and North American Mission Board (NAMB) church planters across Canada since 2016. And what a sweet partnership it has been! The evangelical population in Canada is small, and the need for the spread of the gospel is great. The CNBC is made up of many churches that have been planted in this century. Their members are often new believers having immigrated to Canada from different places around the world. Their communities are filled with people who have never heard the gospel.

In the years before Covid, we held weekend conferences in different provinces in Canada for women in church plants. Each time, a different women’s group from Texas churches came alongside to lead out in hosting the event through teaching, engaging in gospel conversations, leading worship, and providing all the fun extras that make women feel seen and valued.

Post-Covid, our women’s mission trips to Canada have, while serving the same purpose, taken a different form. CNBC women’s leaders host women’s events annually, and Made for More comes alongside primarily to teach and to serve as the volunteer force.

This April, Cynthia will travel with 25 women from her church to Alberta, CA for their annual Overflowing conference. Cynthia will teach and the team will serve as door greeters, coffee bar hosts, breakout room hosts, set up/take down team, market place assistance, and more. We’d love for you to pray that God will use the event and our service there to draw women to Himself!

CNBC WOMEN

Bible Study Resource for CNBC Women

Our mission emphasis in 2025 is resourcing women in CNBC church plants across Canada. We have such an incredible opportunity! The Bible studies we gather together to do in groups with other women in our churches across the U.S. are so readily available that we take those opportunities for granted. Many women in church plants across Canada, however, often have no context of a Bible study resource written just for them. The CNBC Women’s Team Lead has asked for our help!

Here’s what we’re praying God allows us to raise the funds to provide for our Canadian sisters in Christ:

A 6-week Bible study resource for women.

The translation of that resource written for English speakers into several other common native languages spoken by CNBC women, such as French, Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Tagalog, and Korean.

1,000 printed copies of the Bible study resource in those different languages, presented to church planters in 2026 at the CNBC’s triennial, in person meeting, “The Gathering” in  Newfoundland.

We need your help! Would you prayerfully consider what you might give in support of this project? Would you also join us in praying for the completion of this resource? We’re asking God to use the study Made for More to draw Christian women in Canada more deeply into relationship with Him, and to draw women who have yet to hear the gospel to faith in Jesus Christ.
