OUR MISSION

Cultivating experiences that invite women to know and personally encounter the fullness of God

OUR CORE VALUES

Grace and Truth

We believe in the unchanging power of God’s Word to
perpetually enact change in every person who turns in faith to Jesus Christ.

“My word that comes from my mouth will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.” Isaiah 55:11

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! Ephesians 2:4

All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Whole-Life Worship

We believe that worship is a posture of the heart that
compels repentance and sacrificial obedience to God in the daily rhythms of life.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. Romans 12:1

Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. nd whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:16-17

“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Realness in Relationships

We believe that we need each other, and that reality is
only ever truly met in the courageous vulnerabilities of honesty,
loving-kindness, and the commitment to walk together in the light of Christ.

Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together. . . . with joyful and sincere hearts. Acts 2:46

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. James 5:16

Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say, “We have no sin,” we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:7-8

Missional Living

We believe that God calls every believer in Christ to join Him in His kingdom purposes,
not simply as an occasional and carefully curated event, but every day in every context—for life.

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:7-8

Serve one another through love. For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:13b-14

Prayerful Expectation

We believe that God is always at work in the world and in our lives in ways
that are greater than our imaginations can ever possibly conceive—and He will
expand our understanding of His love and power as we continue to seek and trust Him.

For this reason I kneel before the Father from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. I pray that he may grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power in your inner being through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, and to know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21

Quick Answers to Common Questions

  • Wasn’t this ministry called Platform 320? Has it changed? Why?

Yes, Platform 320 was the name under which our events previously operated. The new Made for More is similar to Platform 320, and it is also different in some ways! For starters, Cynthia needed a fresh start and wanted Platform 320 to have a fresh start, too. You’ll recognize the nod to Ephesians 3:20 again in the new name Made for More. That’s because the ministry is still formed around the truth that God is able to do more than any of us could ever ask or imagine, according to His power that’s already at work in us, that’s still at work in us—for His glory forever. And it’s our prayer that He will! As we seek Him in that, we’re approaching every idea, conversation, and opportunity with greater intention. As you engage with us going forward, we believe those intentions will be clear!

  • When is your next retreat? Can I come?

September 12-14, 2025 and yes! Our primary participants at our now bi-annual retreat come as part of their larger church group. In fact, you’ll see that registration is designed for one women’s ministry leader at each church to register her whole group. We want the retreat to function as your church’s women’s retreat in every way! We build in church group time and schedule so that there is ample opportunity for your group to learn, grow, and fellowship together. However, it’s also true that we always have a few individuals who come without their larger church group because their larger church group has other plans. So join us! We’d love for you to talk it up at your church and come as a group of any size and we’d also love for you to join us by yourself or with any number of friends.

  • Can I go on one of your mission trips to Canada?

We’d love that! But first, maybe a bit about how those trips are now typically formed. We’re not currently leading conferences in Canada that we design. We’re partnering with Canadian National Baptist Convention Women to serve as the volunteer force for their annual Overflowing events. In the provinces where those events take place, we aim to bring a group of women from one stateside church to help in ways that are needed. In 2025, for example, Cynthia will be teaching at the Overflowing event in Alberta, and is taking a team of 25 women, all from her church in Texas, to serve in various ways before and during the 2-day event. If you’d like the women of your church to serve in Canada, please reach out to Cynthia.

  • The 2023 women’s summer trip to Puerto Rico was such a meaningful and fun time. Any similar plans in the works?

We felt that way too! Our time together in PR was, to us, a Sabbath experience of sorts. We talked through hard things with friends, had so many gospel conversations, spent one morning ministering to a group of women at a church as they also ministered to us, relaxed like nobody’s business, and some took advantage of the opportunity of a complimentary session with Kimberly Texidor, a former women’s pastor turned therapist who serves on our Board of Directors! (And while we’re at it, Kimberly offers remote Zoom therapy sessions for people who live in other Texas cities. Please do visit The Zoe Center website if you’re in need of a therapist. Made for More is in full support of therapy that addresses real world problems in light of the gospel.]

But back to your question! Our working plan is to alternate year by year our multi-church retreat with a women’s trip similar to the trip we took to Puerto Rico—a super loose schedule for the purposes of intentional time away with the Lord and deepening friendships in a place that’s FUN! It will serve as a reset of sorts for anyone who needs it and will serve as a great getaway for anyone who would simply enjoy spending time with other women who also follow Jesus.

  • What are some other ways I can join Made for More in mission partnership?

So glad you asked! There is a really exciting project we’ll be working on in 2025 and 2026! Head over to our missions page for some details!
